Beginner's New Testament Greek, Blocks 1 and 2
Learn the basics of New Testament Greek through this six-week course. This class structure is broken up into two sections, one for beginners and one for intermediate students. By the end of two six-week sessions, you will be able to read the New Testament in Greek and be able to understand the basics of Greek grammar. This two-part course is designed for students who wish to read in ancient Greek for disciplines such as the arts, philosophy, history, and religious studies. Because the focus of this class in New Testament Greek, there will be greater emphasis on Koine (the common dialect) Greek, in which the New Testament is written, but students can take this basic knowledge and further develop it for other dialects (Attic, Doric, Ionic) and other disciplines. This course also serves as a great refresher course for those who have previously studied ancient Greek and want to sharpen their skills.
